We've now updated Twin Shot 2 to work with the updated Touchy app.
We missed that one when we rolled out the update! Also we fixed the Touchy bug within the game that prevented you from using the cloud vehicles.

Today, we've chosen Once in the Cave as our choice for Pixel Love!
We like the art style in this one. You play as a wizard casting spells of fire and ice to make it through the levels.
The controls have real ease of use allowing the player to fluidly move around the levels. Once in the Cave feels great to play.

It’s Friday and what does that mean… well something slightly different this time.
We are very proud to announce that the Nitrome Touchy App on iTunes and Google Play has been updated. So what does that mean to you the humble gamer? Well you can check out the video... or read on, or why not do both!!!
The Touchy technology has been updated and now we feel that the Touchy dpad is the best touch screen dpad interface on the market! All of our previous dpad based Touchy games have been updated. Also we must add that there is now wide screen support for iPhone5 and various Android devices.

It's Wednesday already! Where has the week gone!
So today we wanted to tell you guys that we're working on a sequel to Test Subject Arena, yes... we are making Test Subject Arena 2!!! And this time you get to choose from 8 characters to play as!
So we will tell you more about this new game soon enough but for now we thought we’d wet your appetites by showing you a couple of new character animations from the game.

Hi Nitromians!
Today's Pixel Love game is Running Warrior by Fliptic. We really love the art style in Fliptic games, and this is no exception.
Run your way through the environment slaying enemies gaining coins and upgrading your warrior. As simple as the gameplay sounds, it is a real joy to play and the simplicity adds to that enjoyment.

As a lot of you are probably hoping or assuming, we are indeed working on more levels for Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage which will be contained in a swanky new pack!
We hinted at what the level pack will be in the initial release and as you can see from the pack shot, it will be to do with a giant sea beast with tentacles and all that sort of cool stuff! Actually taking it a step further it will be set 'inside' the body of the huge beast which will consume you in a very cool and hard to program cut scene at the beginning! ...excited yet?

Exciting news Nitromians!
We have not one but TWO updates currently being worked on for Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage. One of those is the next level pack, which is coming along very nicely (more news on that later). Before the pack update however we have another update which is pretty special in its own right. There will be various little tweaks to the main game in the update, but the major element we are adding is achievements. However in the usual Nitrome fashion, we are approaching it slightly differently to everyone else.
The Achievements will be recorded in game centre (and Google Play Games when the Android version hits), but the actual system is much more integrated into the game world. Meaning if you don’t want to use game centre for any reason they’ll function fine and you can still collect them all.

Today's Pixel Love game is Ripple Dot Zero created by the talented folks over at Pixeltruss!
This game really takes us back to our 90's consoles with its awesome soundtrack and style! The artwork is very slick giving the game a powerful atmosphere and environment.
The controls are very intuitive and clean. This allows you to move the penguin hero as accurately as you would expect.
We recommend checking this out if you haven't already!

Howdy, It's Friday update time Nitromians!
We mentioned that the Touchy app will be updated very soon and wanted to give you a little more detail in what the update means.
We've been experimenting a lot and trying to improve the controller experience. One of the most difficult things to do well is have the d-pad controller scheme feel natural on a touch screen. We wanted to create a d-pad where you don’t have to look at the device to position your thumbs after missing the flipping thing… and we think we've cracked it!
