This week's Pixel Love game is Snailiad!
We really enjoyed playing this one. You play as a snail that is tasked with finding missing snails. We thought that the wall climbing mechanic was quite a fresh idea as was using the snails shell as a shield. This one has boss fights, power ups and more. The Music is also great!

We're thrilled to announce that our next mobile game Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire will be hitting App stores next week.
The game will be free and coming to the Apple App store, Google Play store and the Amazon App store. In the meantime, you can enjoy the spanking new trailer for the game :)
Today's Pixel Love game is Prophet created by Danil Zhuravlev.
This one will have you utilizing wall jumps in order to access high shelf platforms.
The art style has got a very clean low-definition look and feel. The tutorialized early levels are not too easy and do a great job introducing you to the gameplay elements fast.

Although I haven't spoken about the new account features this year, I've been actively working on them!
So expect to see them very soon! In fact, when I say soon, I'm working my hardest to get the account upgrades ready for you all by tomorrow! We just need to do the final backups and checks, just in case we need to roll back and fix some stuff. It's always better to be safe than sorry!
There might be some teething issues here and there but with your help, we should be able to crush a good amount of bugs early on. You have always been a great help in detecting any past site issues that we didn't spot during development and your continued support will be much appreciated. Let's get accounts running as smoothly as possible!

This week, as we didn't highlight any games for Pixel Love last week, we have found two for you to play!
We chose Puzzle Legends as the pixel art looks great and there are some great puzzle elements for you to master. The music is also wonderful!
Boomerang Chang is a very difficult survival game in which you can only throw your boomerangs to the right. In order to stop enemies from the left, you need to limber up and jump over your boomerang! This is quite a fun mechanic that we had good fun playing around with.

We have found a great piece of fan art that we really want to highlight. Maybe not one for the squeamish, a hyper realistic style piece of Dangle fan art created by a Nitromian aptly named "CartoonSpider"!
It has a wonderful sense of volumetric lighting and colour choice, thanks CartoonSpider this one is awesome!

Hey Nitromians,
We have a little surprise for those of you who have been enjoying our infinite Platformer Platform Panic!
We are waiting for an update to be approved on the stores in which allows EVERY character to be upgraded with a special power to help you smash your high scores.
Each power will be tied to the character that you use and can drastically change the way in that you approach some of the rooms. For example Mario upon upgrading can hop on enemies and Radd Bradd has a nifty wall jump to reach higher coins and platforms.
Those of you without smart device need not worry, the update will also be going out on Nitrome.com for you to play around the same time.
There are 9 characters in total can you guess what some of the upgraded powers might be?
More news on the update just as soon as it's been approved for release.
