Today's Pixel Love game is Caverns of IO by Merrak. The game is very addictive with it's well known control method and retro looking ASCII maps. Using your WASD keys to fire and dispatch enemy whilst using your cursor (Arrow) keys to move around the environments, you can explore different strategies when facing the enemy.
When battling with the "purple zeroes", we found that attrition was the best way to go. Let them run their energy levels low, dodge their fire then go on the offensive!

Today, we've chosen Once in the Cave as our choice for Pixel Love!
We like the art style in this one. You play as a wizard casting spells of fire and ice to make it through the levels.
The controls have real ease of use allowing the player to fluidly move around the levels. Once in the Cave feels great to play.

It has been a while since we talked about our upcoming Cave Chaos sequel so we thought we would give you a little update as well as a new little teaser shot.
This is not the game that is coming this week (stay tuned for that... a slight technical hitch has taken longer than expected to sort but we're sure to crack it soon enough) but it is now not far from being complete.
All the elements are in the game and almost all of the levels have been built so there’s not much more to do. We also wanted to give a little something to wet your appetite so check out the shot for a teaser of the games boss :)

It's been a while.... but we finally have a new game to share with you. Cave Chaos (originally called 'Rock Bottom' before a last minute change) takes you deep underground to a hidden world where the creatures have been deprived of sunlight for centuries. You must try to escape this subterranean eco-system before the rocks come crashing down around you! Time is of the essence in this cavernous platformer so get moving!
